"OpenLDAP":http://www.openldap.org version 2.2.13 required 77 minutes of real time to process 11,000 _add_ operations and the same amount of _search_es. A vanilla 2.3.11 version processed the same amount of operations in a blindingly fast 3 minutes and 14 seconds on the same hardware. Whew! Thanks to the OpenLDAP team for a wonderful bit of software.
