They Don't Want Our Business
When I started being a freelancer about fifteen years ago, I opened a business account at the "Norisbank":http://www.norisbank.de in "Mainz":http://www.mainz.de/, because they offerred the exact type of service that I was looking for at very reasonable rates. I've so-far been pleased with their service.
Today I got a lengthy call from the bank manager telling me that the _Norisbank_ is no longer interested in commercial clients as they are switching their focus towards private customers, and would I please terminate my account by the end of March next! I strongly expressed my astonishment at the fact that _any_ enterprise today would try to _get rid of a client_ and outright asked if the _Norisbank_ was going the same way as the fuckup the Deutsche Bank did with their _-24_ bit. His answers where a bit watery…
Two things piss me off: I now have to quickly find an alternative, and the _Norisbank_ has the best online service I've yet come accross (I've used _Deutsche Bank_, _American Express_, _Commerzbank_ and I've seen _Postbank_ and _Sparkasse_), which means that I'm probably going to be very displeased with the next lot.

For your private account have a look at http://www.1822direkt.de - give them a call on 11pm on a Saturday and you know what I mean
Sparkasse Düsseldorf seems to be quite okay for commercial clients.

After having my contract terminated by my previous hoster (it would appear I'm being kicked out quite frequently this year…), I chose to add the fupps.com domain to the account which also hosts mens.de (note to self: that needs some updating too!).
