I think that's just a misunderstanding. We don't want to know if someone uses YaST in text mode or if someone uses the console. We are interested in getting information whether someone uses graphical tools at all.
But as people have problems in getting this meaning of the question we will rephrase this question into:
"Do you use non-graphical tools (e.g. YaST text mode, console) when installing or administering your Linux operating system?"
I think this text shows clearer what we want to know.
