I've noticed for some time already that certain Flickr photos aren't visible to me. I didn't look closer into the reason
s why, but Volker has, and he points out that Flickr is censoring photographs for German visitors (and others).

There is a statement from Flickr explaining the reasons: the problem is not nudity (there is plenty of that here in this country wherever you look) but the age verification that Yahoo! doesn't have for Flickr accounts.
