web2ldap

Michael Ströder was commenting on my ldapvi posting and writes to remind me that web2ldap can also be driven by programs such as lynx or, as seen here, by w3m, if no "big" browser is available.

For those who don't know of web2ldap, it is a very full-featured LDAPv3 client which runs under the control of a web server, or even standalone. Michael did a presentation for the OpenLDAP Developers' Day which is worth a glance or two.
web2ldap's documentation is very good and the program is easy to get up and running. Well worth a try!
