I was researching a bit on Sunday and an update forces me to close Firefox. I don't think I've ever had this many tabs open:

Its been doing the rounds, but even though I use Google's stuff all day long and every day I had so far been left out; my account hadn't yet been converted.

But now it has (no visible indication as yet, but I tried an openssl s_client to imap.gmail.com, et voilá).

Gmail has IMAP. With IMAP IDLE support, (put that in your pipe and smoke it, Lotus!), labels are converted to IMAP folders, and vice versa.

What are the Gmail guys going to give us next? A free glass of wine for each mail we send?
