Just wondering when you attached your 9v battery, did you attach it to the arduino Vin and Gnd pins or did you connect it to the Xbee directly?

I ask because when I try to power my reciever Xbee using a 9v battery using the Vin/Gnd pins the associate LED on the Xbee lights up at first then slowly goes off after a couple of seconds and then I can&#039;t seem to communicate with my other coordinator xbee.

Any ideas? Many Thanks,
